World Plumbing Conference 2026 announces WaterAid as charity partner

WaterAid has been announced as the official charity partner of the World Plumbing Conference 2026.

WaterAid is an international non-profit organisation with the goal of changing the world through water.

The shocking stats show that 696 million people don’t have clean water close to home worldwide, 1.5 billion people don’t have a decent toilet, and 1.7 billion people can’t wash their hands with soap at home.

This makes WaterAid the perfect charity partner for the World Plumbing Conference, who will team up to raise money and spread awareness of the vital importance of access to decent toilets, good hygiene, and a reliable supply of clean water.

Lindsey Coleman – Event Project Manager – World Plumbing Conference 2026 said:

“We are delighted to welcome WaterAid as the charity partner for the World Plumbing Conference 2026.

“The theme of the conference is “Worldwide Problems – Global Solutions”, and access to safe water, toilets and sanitation is so important for citizens of every country around the globe. The work WaterAid does is inspirational and we’re proud to work with them to generate funds for the cause, and highlight these crucial issues.”

Aaya Nader – Strategic Partnerships Officer – WaterAid said:

“WaterAid is proud to be joining the World Plumbing Conference 2026 as the official charity partner. As an international non-profit dedicated to bringing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to communities around the world, we recognise the vital role the global plumbing industry plays in helping us to deliver these basic needs. We are excited to shine a light on this shared commitment, and working together to help create a healthier, more resilient world.”

The World Plumbing Conference will be hosted at InstallerSHOW at the NEC Birmingham from 23–25 June 2026, in conjunction with the World Plumbing Council and the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering (CIPHE).
